เนื่องด้วยสถานการณ์การระบาดของโรคไวรัสโคโรน่า Coronavirus (2019-nCoV) ที่มีแหล่งเริ่มต้นจากเมืองอู่ฮั่น ประเทศจีน มีการติดเชื้อและความรุนแรงขั้นมีผู้เสียชีวิตหลายสิบคน การติดเชื้อจะใช้เวลา 2-3 วัน กว่าจะเริ่มมีอาการป่วยเป็นไข้ การระบาดโรคนี้ค่อนข้างง่าย เพราะติดต่อผ่านการหายใจและสัมผัสผ่านสารคัดหลั่ง ไม่ว่าจะเป็นฝอยละอองต่าง ๆ ที่มาจากร่างกายของผู้ติดเชื้อ และมีหลักฐานชัดเจนว่า มีผู้ป่วย หรือผู้ได้รับเชื้อได้เดินทางเข้ามาประเทศไทย
มหาวิทยาลัยกรุงเทพธนบุรี มีความห่วงใยสถานการณ์ดังกล่าวเช่นกัน เพื่อเป็นการป้องกันการแพร่ระบาดเชื้อไวรัสโคโรน่า และเพื่อปฏิบัติตามประกาศกระทรวงอุดมศึกษา วิทยาศาสตร์ วิจัยและนวัตกรรม จึงเห็นควรดำเนินการตามมาตรการ ดังนี้
1. นักศึกษาจีนที่เดินทางกลับบ้านที่ประเทศจีนในช่วงสองสัปดาห์ที่ผ่านมานี้ และยังไม่ได้เดินทางกลับประเทศไทย ขอให้นักศึกษาจีนเหล่านั้นพำนักอยู่ในประเทศจีนต่อไปเป็นระยะเวลาอย่างน้อย 2 สัปดาห์ และขอให้คณะ/หลักสูตรติดต่อกับนักศึกษาเหล่านั้นเพื่อแจ้งกำหนดการที่เหมาะสมกับสถานการณ์ต่อไป ทั้งนี้คณะ/หลักสูตรควรจัดการสอนเสริมให้กับนักศึกษา หลังจากที่เดินทางกลับมาแล้ว
2. สำหรับนักศึกษาจีนที่พำนักในประเทศไทยและไม่ได้เดินทางกลับประเทศจีนในช่วงระยะเวลาสองสัปดาห์ที่ผ่านมานี้ ขอให้คณะ/หลักสูตรประสานกับนักศึกษาเหล่านั้นเพื่อขอให้หลีกเหลี่ยงการพบปะกับคนที่พึ่งเดินทางกลับมาจากประเทศจีนเพื่อป้องกันความเสี่ยงที่จะติดเชื้อดังกล่าว
3. นักศึกษาและบุคลากรที่มีไข้ หรือมีอาการผิดปกติทางระบบทางเดินหายใจ ควรรายงานให้ผู้บังคับบัญชาขั้นต้นทราบ ควรไปพบแพทย์ที่โรงพยาบาล ไม่ควรรักษาตนเอง และควรดูแลอย่างใกล้ชิด มิให้มีการแพร่เชื้อต่อไป
4. นักศึกษาหรือบุคลากรขอให้หลีกเลียงสถานที่แออัด ไม่อยู่ใกล้ชิดผู้ป่วยไอจาม สวมใส่หน้ากาก อนามัยเมี่ออยู่ในที่ชุมชน หลีกเลี่ยงการเข้าไปตลาดค้าสัตว์ และหมั่นล้างมือให้สะอาดอยู่เสมอด้วยน้ำและสบู่หรือแอลกอฮอล์เจลล้างมือ
5. ทางมหาวิทยาลัยจะติดตามสถานการณ์อย่างใกล้ชิด และอาจมีความจำเป็นต้องขอความร่วมมือจากคณะ/หลักสูตร ในโอกาสต่อไปเพื่อป้องกันการระบาดของโรค

鉴于中华人民共和国武汉市的冠状病毒(2019-nCoV)在全球范围内的大爆发，已经导致了许多病例的病毒传染和死亡. 冠状病毒的潜伏期在症状出现前2-3天，包括类似于普通感冒的症状。感染主要通过呼吸道飞沫或接触受感染的个人分泌物传染。目前也有报告证明来泰国旅游的游客也有感染的案例。
曼谷吞武里大学对这种情况非常关注和谨慎。因此，为了阻止冠状病毒的传染，并遵循泰国高等教育、科学、研究和创新部(MHESI)通告的建议，曼谷吞武里大学要求所有院系按照以下内容配合工作:
- 中国留学生在春节期间回中国过年且仍未返回泰国者，各学院将通知所在院系的中国留学生需在中国停留多2个星期，学院负责定期通知学生下一步的指示，并于其后为中国留学生安排额外的补课；
- 至于留在泰国并未返回中国的中国留学生，各学院将有责任通知他们先不要与最近从中国回国的学生直接接触，以防止冠状病毒的传染；
- 学生及教职员如有出现有发烧症状或呼吸系统有异常，应向学院报告有关征状，必须前往医院就诊，由于病毒易传染的性质，为安全起见，不建议自行医治；
- 学生和教职员应避免聚集在封闭或拥挤的地方，包括动物市场，在公众地方应戴上口罩，避免与流鼻涕和咳嗽的病人密切接触，并经常用肥皂、水或酒精凝胶洗手；
- 曼谷吞武里大学将密切关注疫情的发展，并携手各院系一同配合进行相关工作，以防止冠状病毒的传播传染；
- 关于疫情的信息和通告，学生、教职工可以从卫生部疾病控制局的官方网站网站http://ddc.moph.go.th/viralpneumonia/intro.php.查阅到相关信息。
The worldwide pandemic of the coronaviruses (2019-nCoV), which was originated from Wuhan, the People’s Republic of China, has caused ramifications leading to virus contractions and deaths in many cases. The incubation period of the coronaviruses is estimated between 2-3 days before the symptoms appear, including ones similar to a common cold. The infection is primarily transmitted through respiratory droplets or contact with infected secretions from individuals. Currently, there have been reports of infected individuals travelling through to Thailand.
Bangkokthonburi University is concerned and very cautious with the situation. Therefore, in order to limit the spread of the coronaviruses and to follow the recommendations announced by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), the University requests that all Faculties/Programs, follow the instructions suggested below:
- For the Chinese students who travelled back to their hometown within the previous two weeks and have not yet been back to Thailand, the Faculties/Programs are to inform those Chinese students to stay in China for another two weeks. The Faculties/Programs shall regularly inform students of further instructions and
make-up classes can be provided afterwards.
- For the Chinese students who have stayed in Thailand throughout these past weeks, the Faculties/Program are to inform them to refrain from having direct contacts with those who have recently travelled back from China to prevent the spread of the coronaviruses.
- Students and staff who have got fever or suspected to any difficulty breathing or problems with their respiratory tract are to report their symptoms to the Faculties/Programs and to seek medical advice from the experts at the hospitals. Due to the nature of the spread of viruses, it is not recommended to do self-hospitalization for safety precaution.
- Students and staff are recommended to avoid gathering in enclosed or crowded spaces including animal markets, wear a mask in these areas, avoid close contact with people who are sick with runny nose and coughing, and wash your hands frequently with soap and water or alcohol gel.
5. The University will follow the outbreak situation very closely and may necessarily need to further ask for kind cooperation from all Faculties/Programs in order to prevent the spread of the coronaviruses.
