Professor Dr. Bang-orn Benjathikul, President of Bangkok Thonburi University, presided over the opening ceremony of the international art exhibition “REBIRTH OF THE GULF: Marine Waste Sculptures and Virtual Coastal Landscape Regeneration.”

The exhibition presents artworks inspired by “marine waste” and “virtual coastal landscapes,” conveyed through the perspectives of young artists, creatively reflecting environmental issues while integrating digital arts and cultural exchange between Thai and Chinese students.

This exhibition is part of the International Urban Renewal Sino–Thailand Workshop Project 2025, an educational collaboration between the Shanghai Art & Design Academy and Bangkok Thonburi University.

Thanks to Dr. Zhou Qing and Dr. Li Gang, our PhD students from the Faculty of Education, for their seamless integration of interdisciplinary knowledge in “Fine Arts – Sustainable Educational Administration – Digital Technology,” in driving this international collaboration project to spark environmental change with BTU.
