On June 10, 2026, the Faculty of Medicine, Bangkok Thonburi University (BTU), held an orientation ceremony for the 6th cohort of first-year medical students for the 2026 academic year. The event aimed to prepare and foster a positive attitude towards the medical profession among the new medical students. Professor Dr. Bang-orn Benjathikul, President of Bangkok Thonburi University, presided over the ceremony, giving a welcoming speech and presenting learning aids (iPads) to the medical students.
In addition, Professor Emeritus Dr. Saraneet Waikakul, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Bangkok Thonburi University, along with various executives, provided information on various topics beneficial to the medical students, such as academic matters, student affairs, and life within the medical faculty.
The President of Bangkok Thonburi University, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, and faculty members participated in welcoming and encouraging the new medical students. A welcoming ceremony was also held, including a walk across the bridge to the Faculty of Medicine, Bangkok Thonburi University. To foster positive relationships between administrators, faculty, and students,
the administrators, faculty, parents, and students participated in the orientation program, which was held in a warm atmosphere from June 10-12, 2026, at BTU HALL, Bangkok Thonburi University.
