Starting today! “BTU Carnival and Music 69” – BTU presents a full-scale concert featuring famous artists and a wide array of OTOP and SMEs products to stimulate sustainable community economic growth.

On June 9, 2026, Professor Dr. Bang-orn Benjathikul, President of Bangkok Thonburi University (BTU), presided over the opening ceremony of the first “BTU Carnival and Music 69.” This event, organized by Bangkok Thonburi University in collaboration with its civil society network, aims to support and promote proactive community-level business activities and boost community income. It stimulates communities to enhance their marketing capabilities, expand opportunities for distributing community products (OTOP), and support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) by providing direct access to quality products at fair prices.
Furthermore, the “BTU Carnival and Music 69” opens new markets and diversifies distribution channels, effectively connecting community products to consumers and enhancing their image. It also promotes mutual learning among communities, leading to sustainable and strong grassroots community development in the future.
One of Bangkok Thonburi University's key missions is to provide comprehensive academic services to strengthen communities. The “BTU Carnival and Music 69” event thus contributes concretely to this mission.

The event features OTOP product stalls from all regions of Thailand, exhibition booths by Bangkok Thonburi University students, fun recreational activities, and concerts by many famous artists throughout the event.
The “BTU Carnival and Music 69” event, held at the plaza in front of BANGKOKTHONBURI HALL, Bangkok Thonburi University, from June 9th to 22nd, received a large turnout from administrators, faculty, students, and the general public.
