Strengthening Thai-Chinese Artistic Ties: Bangkok Thonburi University's Faculty of Fine Arts Advances Lacquerware Art to International Standards (THCN)

From May 6-13, 2026, the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Bangkokthonburi University, led by the Dean, along with administrators and faculty members, participated in the "Advanced Lacquer Painting Training Program" in Zhoushan City, Zhejiang Province, People's Republic of China.
This exchange program offered master-level knowledge.
The administrators and faculty members had the honor of attending advanced training in "Lacquer Painting" techniques. Professor Zhang Gaojun, a national expert, served as the main instructor, imparting unique and valuable techniques.
Strengthening Educational Friendship
In addition to academic activities, the administrators also visited Zhejiang Daishan Dongsha High School, a high school for arts, to study its approach to providing a foundation in art education for young people and to discuss future educational cooperation to create opportunities for students in art and design between the two countries.
