On March 24, 2026, Professor Dr. Bang-orn Benjathikul, President of Bangkok Thonburi University (BTU), presided over the opening ceremony of the “Good Care” workshop for support staff of Bangkok Thonburi University and its affiliated institutions, including Bangkok Thonburi Demonstration School, Bangkok Thonburi Vocational College, and Bangkok Polytechnic College. She also delivered a policy speech on providing excellent service to the support staff. Professor (Special) Dr. Duangrit Benjathikul Chairungruang and Dr. Natcha Chairungruang, Executive Director of Bangkok Thonburi Demonstration School, led the executives, faculty, and support staff of Bangkok Thonburi University and its affiliated institutions in participating in the project at the 4th floor of the Sports Complex, Bangkok Thonburi University.
The “Good Care” workshop was organized by Bangkok Thonburi University to elevate the standard of service quality to the highest efficiency, which will contribute to the sustainable development of service work. The objectives are to promote and develop the potential and enhance the capabilities of support staff in various departments to be ready to provide impressive service to those who receive services, as well as to develop knowledge and skills in concepts, techniques, and strategies, such as communication techniques in providing educational services. Understanding service principles, attitudes toward service, the art of providing information, and answering questions are all crucial in enhancing the customer experience for those seeking various services.
This workshop for support staff also facilitated knowledge exchange and sharing among support staff of Bangkok Thonburi University and its affiliated institutions. Furthermore, it motivated support staff, increased their awareness of the importance of service, and enhanced their capabilities in modern service delivery.
Professor Dr. Bang-orn Benjathikul, President of Bangkok Thonburi University, also gave a special lecture on the topic of "The Bangkok Thonburi Family's Good Care Policy" to the seminar participants. In addition, there were special lectures by distinguished speakers, including a lecture on "Why 'Good Care' is Important" by Professor (Special) Dr. Duangrit Benjathikul Chairungruang, and a lecture on "True Service Mindset: Caring with (Sincerity) Heart" by Assistant Professor Dr. Natcha Chairungruang, Executive Director. In addition, the workshop included lectures on several topics by qualified speakers, including: “Service Attitudes and Student Care” by Ms. Mutita Benjathikul, Director of Polytechnic College of Bangkok; “Service Excellence: The Art of Service That Makes People Want to Return” by Mr. Sathit Chaiyangam; “Educational Institution Service Standards: Leaders Create Quality, Teamwork Creates Success” by Mr. Kantinan Sriprasong, Director of Polytechnic College of Bangkok; and “Voices from the Front Line: Secrets to Micro-level Care That Makes Students Feel Good at Every Step of the Service Experience” by M.L. Kitiyathorn Wilaiwong.
The “Good Care” workshop also included a workshop for support staff to exchange knowledge and enhance their self-development in providing high-level service. Participants also presented service plans for support staff as a guideline for best practices in service, fostering the development of concepts, knowledge, and direct experience that can be used as a basis for collaborative work in providing excellent service.
