On April 21, 2026, Professor (Special) Dr. Duangrit Benjathikul Chairungruang presided over the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Bangkok Thonburi University (BTU) and "Chef Tong," Mr. Worachet Charoenwongmai, President of Junior Chef Camp, under the "Junior Chef Camp" project. This initiative aims to enhance knowledge, promote education, and develop culinary skills for young people, as well as encourage students and interested individuals to participate in "Junior Chef Camp."
The signing of this MOU was represented by Professor Dr. Bangorn Benjathikul, President of Bangkok Thonburi University, through Assistant Professor Dr. Saengiam Busababan, Vice President for Administration, and "Chef Tong," Mr. Worachet Charoenwongmai, who jointly signed the agreement. Ms. Wasita Pichitwattana, Director of Student Affairs, Bangkok Thonburi University, and Ms. Nattha Chanlekha, President of Junior Chef Camp, also signed as witnesses.
This MOU signifies a significant collaboration between the two universities. This marks another significant step in promoting collaboration with civil society to support and cultivate a mindset in young people that encourages them to think, act, and express themselves creatively and appropriately.
In addition, this collaboration between Bangkok Thonburi University and "Chef Tong" promotes a sense of responsibility towards oneself and society among young people, fostering leadership and followership skills so that they can grow into valuable members of society.
The event was attended by executives, faculty members of Bangkok Thonburi University, parents, and students, and took place at the Hotel and Tourism Operations Center Building, 2nd floor, Bangkok Thonburi University.
