Bangkok Thonburi University (BTU) organized a workshop on "Developing Internal Quality Assurance Assessors at the Program Level According to AUN-QA Version 4.0 Criteria" for the registration of Batch 1 of BTU administrators and faculty members. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Saengiam Busababan, Vice President for Administration, Bangkok Thonburi University, presided over the opening ceremony. The workshop aimed to enhance the capabilities of personnel in educational quality assurance to align with ASEAN standards, support the development of the educational quality assurance system, and prepare personnel to sustainably drive the organization towards international standards. It was held from March 23-25, 2026, at the Hotel and Tourism Operations Center Building, 2nd floor, Bangkok Thonburi University.
The workshop was also honored by the presence of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sutithep Siripipatkul, Head of the Department of Educational Technology, Faculty of Education, Kasetsart University; Asst. Prof. Tip-Usa Sriperit, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, Ramkhamhaeng University; and Dr. Nipitphon Sanitluea, Assistant to the President, Sarasas Technology Suvarnabhumi Institute. Distinguished speakers were invited to give lectures on related topics to enhance understanding of AUN-QA criteria, promote the development of skills as internal program quality assessors, and facilitate the exchange of experiences regarding the roles and responsibilities of assessors, assessment criteria and procedures, and systematic report writing.
In addition, Bangkok Thonburi University organized workshops through simulated scenarios to enhance skills in internal program quality assessment, such as role-playing interviews with administrators and stakeholders, and close interaction and question-and-answer sessions with distinguished speakers, enabling participants to effectively apply the knowledge in their real-world work.
