On March 10, 2026, Professor Dr. Bang-orn Benjathikul, President of Bangkok Thonburi University (BTU), along with Professor (Special) Dr. Duangrit Benjathikul Chairungruang, graciously presided over the opening ceremony of the “Bangkok Thonburi Fair.” This event, organized by Bangkok Thonburi University in collaboration with its civil society network, serves as a crucial tool and mechanism to support and promote businesses and generate income for communities. It aims to enhance the marketing capabilities, distribute community products (OTOP), and support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) by providing direct access to quality products at fair prices.
Furthermore, the “Bangkok Thonburi Fair” opens new markets and expands distribution channels, effectively connecting community products to the industrial sector. It also broadens opportunities to enhance the image of community products and promotes mutual learning among communities, leading to sustainable and strong grassroots community development in the future.
The President of Bangkok Thonburi University invites all interested members of the public to attend the “Bangkok Thonburi Fair.” The event features OTOP product stalls, popular TikTok food vendors, exhibition booths by BTU students, and various recreational activities. In addition to enjoying concerts by many famous artists,
the event “Bangkok Thonburi Fair” attracted a large number of administrators, faculty members, students, and the general public. It was held at the plaza in front of BANGKOKTHONBURI HALL, Bangkok Thonburi University, from March 10–18, 2026.
