Recently, Professor Dr. Bang-orn Benjathikul, President of Bangkok Thonburi University (BTU), emphasized the importance of developing and promoting collaboration among various civil society networks to support the production of quality graduates who align with the National Qualifications Framework for Higher Education, advancements in science and technology, and the changing social context in various dimensions.
In addition, the President of Bangkok Thonburi University continuously promotes the development of diverse academic programs in collaboration with academic and professional networks both domestically and internationally. This ensures that students and related personnel from all sectors of society have the opportunity to pursue further studies in various programs at all levels of the university. This strengthens the development of knowledge, enhances experience, and improves academic and professional skills, especially in building academic networks in both the public and private sectors, which is a key policy of the university.
Given this importance, Bangkok Thonburi University and the Samut Prakan Provincial Administrative Organization have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for academic cooperation. Professor Dr. Bang-orn Benjathikul, President of Bangkok Thonburi University, assigned Associate Professor Dr. Saengiam Busababan, Vice President for Administration, to sign the MOU. Representatives from Bangkok Thonburi University and Mr. Woraporn Asawahem, Deputy Mayor of Samut Prakan Provincial Administrative Organization, acting on behalf of the Mayor of Samut Prakan Provincial Administrative Organization, signed the memorandum of understanding (MOU). Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pongpipat Mallikamal and Mr. Sittichai Kessarasit also signed as witnesses.
The signing of this academic cooperation MOU between Bangkok Thonburi University and the Samut Prakan Provincial Administrative Organization aims to develop and promote the full potential of personnel from both organizations in both academic and professional fields. It also supports the continued pursuit of higher education in related fields by personnel of the Samut Prakan Provincial Administrative Organization to enhance their knowledge and develop their careers. Furthermore, it fosters cooperation in the development and exchange of academic knowledge and research between the two organizations.
The signing ceremony was witnessed by a large number of executives, faculty, and students from Bangkok Thonburi University, executives from the Samut Prakan Provincial Administrative Organization, and members of the media, at the Sports Complex Building, 4th floor, Bangkok Thonburi University.
